The Immorgamsics Gambit

Dan McNeely

Dan McNeely joined the Armor Gamsees in order to help find a way to stop his grandfather from dying of Alzheimer's disease. He became the head of the research group that eventually found the gene sequence that determines how old a person will be when he or she dies of natural causes. He brought these findings to Dialla Reineheart, who had followed in her father's footsteps after his death and became the head of the Armor Gamsees.  It was during this encounter that Dan first had feelings for Dialla. Several years later, as second-in-command at Armor Gamsees, Dan took the Immorgamsics, the end product of Dan's early research, with Dialla. They both passed out and woke up several months later, not remembering who they were. Dan had an underling who was able to tell him as much as he needed to become a charismatic leader of the Armor Gamsees, and persisted in making both Dialla and Mickey Lee, who had defected to protect Dialla, come back to the Armor Gamsees. As soon as contributers to Armor Gamsees heard of the incident, they pulled their funding and Dan was forced to find a new way to fund the research. He resorted to taking the money he needed, eventually bringing him into the view of the police force, of which Dialla and Mickey were both officers. During a raid on Sargeant Benjamin Greunbaum's mansion, a sargeant in the police force, Dan had a case of amnesia. Soon, however, he remembered who he was and became the leader of the Armor Gamsees once again, turning the employees of the Armor Gamsees into gamg members, forcing them to wear uniforms and carry guns and moving their headquarters underground so it would be harder for police to trace them. Soon Mickey and Dialla found the new headquarters and went down to find Dan, where he killed Mickey. Dialla continues to avenge Mickey, but Merik, Dan's strongest new underling, was able to capture her before she could. Dan offers her immortality and a chance to join his gang, but she says nothing. When he leaves, Dialla finds her way out of the holding cell and eventually gets to where Dan is. He once again offers her immortality and a chance to join, this time revealing to her that she was once the leader. She shoots him into a safe and pushes the safe into the ocean below.

Dialla Reineheart

When Dialla was a young teenager, her father was both diagnosed with cancer and killed in a drive-by shooting. Subsequently, she became the leader of the Armor Gamsees, which at that time was a very successful private research institute. When Dan McNeely brought to her some of his recent findings, Dialla saw her father's ambitions, that Man would no longer have to worry about dying of natural causes, or even most illnesses. She moved a lot of funding to the production of a formula that could eliminate disease based on these findings. Several years later, research, testing, and production was complete, and Dialla introduced the rest of  the Armor Gamsees to Immorgamsics, but not before she noticed a near-fatal flaw in the process. However, there was no time to fix the process before the unveiling, and Dialla volunteered herself as the first human test subject. Dan, who was by this time her second-in-command, spontaneously volunteered himself as the next test subject. She was unable to stop him, and they both passed out. Months later, she woke up in a hospital room with Mickey Lee, a former member of the Armor Gamsees himself. However, she had no idea who either of them were or what she was doing in a hospital bed. Mickey was able to tell her a believable story, careful to omit anything relating to the Armor Gamsees. Dialla became a detective under Sargeant Benjamin Greunbaum with Mickey, and they worked and trained together until Dan attacked Greunbaum's mansion with some of his lackeys. Dialla and Mickey were two of the people sent to take out the intruders. Dialla's task was to dress up as a maid to try to fool the members of the Armor Gamsees. As she gets captured and tied up by one of them, Dan suffers a case of amnesia. Not remembering who he is, he eventually finds himself where Dialla is tied up and gets to know her as a new maid and not his formal leader. Dan escapes, and Dialla and Mickey return to police headquarters. When Mickey tells her that Dan has been sighted recently, they go to find him, but not after dropping her off at her apartment. As she is leaving her apartment, Merik, Dan's strongest underling, attacks her. She shoots him, but he is able to escape through her open window. As Mickey and Dialla arrive near the entrance to the Armor Gamsees' headquarters, Mickey locks her in his car to protect her from a similar incident. She escapes the car, however, and follows him, finding him shot and dying. When he dies, she decides to avenge her friend and confronts Dan, but Merik protects Dan and pulls her into a holding cell. As she comes to, Dan offers her Immorgamsics and a chance to join the Armor Gamsees, but she doesn't respond. Merik brings in Mickey's lifeless body, redressed in an Armor Gamsees uniform, and her resolve is rekindled. She escapes the holding cell with some help from Jason White, a man across  the hall. While on her way to confront Dan, she finds enough evidence to put him away for life and meets up with Merik, whom she is able to kill after a shooting match. When she confronts Dan, she learns that she was once the leader of the Armor Gamsees, and refuses to join yet again. She is about to leave him when he shoots her. However, she is able to grab her gun and shoot him so that he falls into a safe. She closes the safe and pushes it into the ocean below. Coming up from the sewers, she brings Mickey's lifeless body to be buried.

Mickey Lee

Mickey was once part of the Armor Gamsees, but defected when Dan McNeely and Dialla Reineheart passed out as a result of taking the Immorgamsics to help Dialla. When she woke up from her coma, Mickey became her guide and stayed by her side, knowing that the Armor Gamsees might try to bring them back. They become detectives in the police force, serving under Sargeant Benjamin Greunbaum. When Sgt. Greunbaum's mansion is broken into, Mickey and Dialla are two of the people on the team sent to take out the intruders. Mickey's job was to take out as many members of the Armor Gamsees as he could. He takes out the last one just in time to save Dialla, but Dan McNeely escapes. Several months later, Mickey finds the location of the new Armor Gamsees headquarters, located in a forgotten section of the sewers. He brings this information to his boss, who sends Mickey and Dialla on the mission alone, as they were the only survivors from the Greunbaum incident and because they had the best intel on Dan McNeely and his gang. Mickey goes in first, locking Dialla in his car for her protection, and subsequently gets shot by Dan McNeely. When Dialla escapes the car and finds him, he's nearly dead, but is able to tell her who killed him and what he had always felt for her.

Merik

Merik has the build of a body builder, and most everything about him is unknown.
